Privacy Policy

Metronome Map (the App) is a rehearsal and musical-cue assistant for musicians. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1 Data We Collect

• Account: your email address, used for sign-in and account identification.
• Audio files you upload: songs you import for structure analysis and stem separation.
• Usage data: number of AI jobs used (quota) and an anonymous device identifier to prevent quota abuse.
• We do not record microphone audio — recording permission is disabled in the App.

2 How We Use Data

• To provide song analysis, stem separation, and cue/metronome generation.
• To manage your account and AI usage quota.
• To improve the App's stability and quality.

3 Processing of Audio Files

Audio you upload is sent to our servers temporarily for analysis only. We never publish, sell, or repurpose your music.

4 Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and account database.
• Modal — cloud processing for analysis and stem separation.
• RevenueCat / App Store / Google Play — subscription management, if paid subscriptions are enabled later.

5 Data Retention & Deletion

• Delete in the App: go to Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, quota, usage history and subscription records from our servers right away. Songs and setlists stored on your device are not affected.
• Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage or cancel it in the Apple App Store or Google Play under your store account.
• You can also request deletion at any time via the contact email above.
• Uploaded files for processing are removed after the job completes, per routine maintenance.

6 Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above.
